Bluenose Bottle is part of the ACES program as a drop off center for electronics. Below is a list of all the accepted electronics. All electronics that are part of the program are household/small business items, we do not accept industrial size equipment.

• TVs (CRT, LCD, Plasma and LED TVs) there is no size restriction
• Computers (Desktop, Laptop/Tablet/Netbook, Workstation and Non-rackmounted Servers)
• Computer Monitors (CRT, LCD)
• Computer parts (All internal parts for computer towers)
• Printers , Fax Machines , Computer Scanners
• Computer Accessories (Headphones, Cables, Speakers, Keyboards, Mice, Microphones)
• Cameras (Cam-Corders, Digital Cameras, Film Cameras)
• Stereo Equipment (Speakers, Amplifiers, Tuners, Cassette players, CD players, Cables)
• Video Playback Systems (DVD, Beta, VHS, BLU-RAY players)
• PDA/MP3 and other portable devices
• Cable boxes and Satellite receivers
• Multimedia Projectors
• Non Cellular Telephones and answering machines (See below about cellular telephones)

Regarding cellular telephones - We do accept cell phones, not part as the ACES program but as courtesy to our customers we do accept them and send them to Ontario to get recycled properly.

Regarding DAMAGED electronics - As long as the electronic piece is safe to handle ie. without cutting or injuring employees we do accept them but Bluenose has the right to turn away such items, If something is too dangerous to handle please call or visit us and we will discuss how to properly dispose of the item or if we can in-fact accept the item.
